Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- Staff members of the Russian embassy here laid a wreath before the Liberation Tower on Monday on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Motherland.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Ambassador Valery Sukhinin, Military Attache Alexei Bartusov and other staff members of the Russian embassy and the Military Attaches Corps here.
The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the Soviet army after placing the wreath in the name of the Russian embassy.
Staff members of the Russian embassy also laid a wreath and bouquets before the cemetery of the fallen soldiers of the Soviet army in Sadong District, Pyongyang on the same day.
