Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union headed by Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, president of its Central Committee, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Tuesday.
The head of the delegation said that they were deeply impressed to see the Korean people all out in the drive to open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation in 2012, the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.
The friendly relations between the two parties and peoples of Vietnam and the DPRK provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung have been carried forward and developed by General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, she noted.
She hoped that the Korean people would achieve greater success in the efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation and accomplish the cause of national reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
