The General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute released the bulletin titled "Songun policy in the DPRK" carrying his portrait on Feb. 12.

It said:

The Songun policy of the DPRK is the political mode based on the Juche idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung which reflects the requirement of the popular masses to lead an independent and peaceful life.

The policy pursued by Kim Jong Il is based on the new elucidation of the position and role of the army in the revolution and construction.

The DPRK wants peace but if any other country seeks to bring down Korean-style socialism, it will firmly defend its sovereignty and dignity under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna edited articles introducing the revolutionary history and the undying feats of the illustrious great man of Mt. Paektu in the bulletin issued on the same day carrying a portrait of Kim Jong Il.

The Friendship Society Norway-Korea in a bulletin issued on Feb. 15 noted that Kim Jong Il is devoting himself to the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the country, stressing that the entire Korean nation is holding him in high esteem and following him as the father of the nation and the lodestar for reunification.
