Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Defending Tok Islet of south Korea held a press conference outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on Feb. 20 at which it denounced the Japanese reactionaries for their ambition to grab the islet, according to KBS of south Korea.
Recalling that the Shimane Prefecture of Japan fixed Feb. 22 as the "Day of Takeshima (Tok Islet)" a few years ago and has held so-called "commemorative functions" on the day every year, the organization denounced Japan for the undisguised revelation of its real intention to seize Tok Islet, part of an inalienable territory of the Korean nation.
Such act should be stopped at once, the organization urged, saying that it would visit Shimane Prefecture of Japan, venue of the "commemorative functions," and hand a letter of protest over to the governor of the prefecture.
