A resolution, read out at the rally, noted that the military authorities are contemplating staging Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises from March 9 to 20 in league with the U.S.

The war exercises involving at least 26,000 U.S. troops and other huge armed forces and latest war hardware including nuclear-powered aircraft carrier are precisely exercises aimed to attack the DPRK under "OPLAN 5027," a scenario for a nuclear war for aggression on it, the resolution charged.

Timing to be coincided with such scheme, Minister of "National Defence" Ri Sang Hui unhesitatingly let loose a spate of outbursts that "the south would strike the north," while talking about "provocation" of someone.

The deteriorated inter-Korean relations and the increasing crisis of war in the Korean Peninsula are attributable to the Lee Myung Bak regime which is resorting to the war and confrontation moves after totally denying the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

The resolution called upon all the people to turn out in the struggle for peace against war to frustrate the moves for war exercises against the DPRK.
