Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress, the Bar Association for Democratic Society, the Confederation of Trade Unions, the Citizens' Solidarity for Democratic Society, the Society of Student Parents for True Education, the Federation of Peasants Associations and other civic and public organizations of south Korea held a joint press conference in Seoul on Feb. 25 at which they published a white paper on the Lee Myung Bak regime's misdeeds in the first year of its office.
Speakers at the press conference recalled that civic and public organizations of various circles issued a white paper in which they laid bare the course characterized by lies, deception and crimes covered by the Lee Myung Bak "government" and the "Grand National Party" over the last one year since they came to power.
They charged that under the present "government" the people's living has further deteriorated, democracy has been violated and the inter-Korean relations have been pushed to the crisis of total severance.
They stressed that the white paper warned the dictatorial regime against having violated the democracy in society, suppressed assemblies and demonstrations by violence and driven the inter-Korean relations to the phase of military conflict.
