No sooner had Lee come to power than he put up the watchword "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" as his "policy toward the north."

As recognized by the domestic and foreign public, the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, the issue sparked by the United States, is not one between the north and the south but an issue between the DPRK and the U.S. as well as an international issue.

Nevertheless, the Lee group regarded the pressure upon "the north to dismantle its nuclear program first" as a keynote of the above-said policy, absurdly linking the inter-Korean relations with the nuclear issue, and allowed foreign forces to make the domestic issue of the nation a plaything and a bargaining chip for meeting their interests.

The group has systematically brought to naught all the achievements made in the June 15 era of reunification, describing the above-said era as a "lost decade."

The policy of confrontation with the DPRK pursued by the Lee Myung Bak regime is nothing but a war theory aimed at realizing its foolish wild dream to invade it as it led the situation on the peninsula to the brink of war.

All the Koreans have already declared the bankruptcy of the said policy as it is a major factor of bringing the inter-Korean relations to collapse.

This being a hard reality, the Lee group appointed Hyon In Thaek as puppet minister of Unification some days ago though he is the arch criminal who crafted the said-watchword. This betrayed its sinister intention to desperately pursue the treacherous "policy towards the north" with an eye to stand in confrontation with the DPRK to the last and ignite a war against it come what may.

The reality clearly proves that the Koreans can neither expect the improved inter-Korean relations and reunification nor escape the holocaust of a nuclear war as long as Lee is allowed to stay in power. The root cause of a misfortune should be completely eliminated in time and the faster, the better, concludes the article.
