The North Chungchong Provincial Headquarters of the committee called a press conference in front of the provincial office on Feb. 24 to denounce the misrule of the Lee group in the first year of its office.

At the press conference the organization charged that the first year of Lee's office sparked the danger of military conflict in the inter-Korean relations in the final analysis.

The June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration serve as a practical programme for putting an end to the division of the nation and achieving reunification and peace, it noted.

It urged the present "government" to abandon its hostile policy toward the DPRK at an early date and sincerely implement the said declarations.

The Taegu-North Kyongsang Provincial Headquarters of the above-said committee issued a declaration on the same day in which it declared that the Lee "government" is wholly to blame for the bedeviled inter-Korean relations.

It demanded the authorities implement the said declarations and stop scattering leaflets against the DPRK, etc.
