The first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification said that the Korean people are struggling for the building of a thriving nation under the outstanding leadership of Kim Jong Il and its prospect is bright, expressing full support of the Cuban people to the Korean people in their struggle for the country's reunification and evincing his will to make all possible efforts for it.

The chairman and the vice-chairman of the Central Council of the Kyrgyz L People's Unity Party recalled that Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung and turned the DPRK into the bulwark of the cause of global independence by defending socialism with the Songun politics.

The speaker of the assembly of Oaxaca State of Mexico said that Kim Jong Il struck all people with admiration by turning the DPRK into an independent and dignified country by wisely leading the Korean people.

A message of greetings and a letter to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meeting held in Mexico.

DPRK film shows were held in Russia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar and the Czech Republic between Feb. 2 and 14 on the same occasion.
