U.S. and S. Korean Warmongers' Moves to Ignite War against DPRK Flayed

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the warmongers of puppet military of south Korea announced that it would round off a new joint operation plan against the north to replace the "OPLAN-5027" by July with the United States and apply the said plan to Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises to be staged in August. Meanwhile, they cried out that they would set up "ballistic guided missile operation control center" by 2012 under the pretext of "coping with the missile threat."

This is nothing but reckless provocative acts of pushing the tense situation on the Korean Peninsula closer to the outbreak of a nuclear war, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed commentary.

It goes on:

Under the prevailing situation in which the north and the south stand in acute military confrontation, the reckless provocative acts perpetuated by the Lee Myung Bak group may lead to an all-out war any moment.

Traitor Lee should never be oblivious of the fact that the DPRK is closely following its military provocation with high vigilance.

It is the revolutionary spirit of the army and people of the DPRK to return fire for fire and mete out merciless punishment to the provocateurs.

Our revolutionary armed forces already expressed their principled stand to thoroughly foil the reckless war moves of the Lee group with merciless strike power and resolute action that can not be estimated with any ultra modern means.

If the puppet warmongers ignite a war at last in collusion with foreign forces, misjudging the self-restraint of our revolutionary armed forces that value the peace, the group of traitors can not escape from the final destruction.

The puppet warmongers would be well advised to behave themselves, mindful of what a high price they will have to pay in the end for their collusion with foreign forces to ignite a war against the north.
