Japan's undisguised moves to grab Tok Islet are a wanton encroachment upon the dignity and sovereignty of the Korean nation. The fact that Tok Islet is part of the inviolable territory of Korea had already been clearly proved by historical materials and on the basis of geographical and legal grounds and similar historical materials substantiating it have been discovered one after another recently.

The Japanese reactionaries have stepped up their moves to grab the islet while crying out for publishing "stamps on Takeshima." They went the lengths of letting reconnaissance planes of the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" fly over the islet. They also made sure that a "drill for taking over Tok Islet" was staged in secret and Tok Islet was marked as "part of the Japanese territory" in their "white paper on defense" last year.

They made the DPRK the first target of Japan's overseas aggression as they considered it as a big hurdle in Japan's realization of its scenario for reinvasion of Asia. It is the calculation of the Japanese reactionaries that they cannot realize their ambition to reinvade Asia unless they occupy the DPRK which imposingly stands as an invincible socialist fortress and a gate to the Asian Continent. Proceeding from this ambition, Japan is watching for every chance of reinvasion while escalating its hostile policy toward the DPRK to this end. The above-said observation of "day of Takeshima" lays bare the Japanese reactionaries' preparations to stage a comeback to Korea.

They are contemplating deliberately sparking and escalating the dispute over the issue of Tok Islet and rendering the situation tense with an eye to reinvade the DPRK under this pretext. Their moves to grab the islet are a prelude to staging a comeback to Korea.

The above-said moves of the Japanese reactionaries compel the servicepersons and people of the DPRK to harden their determination and will that they should settle accounts with Japan to the last.

The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to stop running amuck, clearly understanding that they are foolish to try to grab the islet.
