Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- The famous song "Song of Ploughing" is ringing out on the cooperative fields of Korea which have ushered in the spring.
The song, created after promulgation of the historic Agrarian Reform Law (March 5, 1946) is one of the favorite songs of the Korean people.
It is a kind of lyric folk-song reflecting the joy of the peasants who plough their land for the first time in their life thanks to the agrarian reform enforced under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.
The words of a song with three stanzas expresses well the pulsating worthwhile working life of the peasants who are ploughing and sowing seeds with the joy and pride of being the master of the land in close combination with the beautiful landscape of the new country.
Its melody reflects well the national emotion and optimistic spirit with bright sound color, advancement of fluent sound, calling of cuckoo, tone of "Oh" and merry sound of "eruhwa, teruhwa".
