The statement recalled that the U.S. and the puppet warmongers have planned to stage Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, large-scale joint military maneuvers for invasion of the DPRK, across south Korea from March 9 to 20 while announcing that they would round off a new "operation plan" to replace "OPLAN 5027" and apply it in the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises to be staged in forthcoming August.

This goes to prove that their intention to contain the northern half of Korea by force of arms and impose disasters of a nuclear war upon the Korean nation at any cost has reached the extremely dangerous phase, the statement said.

The confederation and Koreans in Russia strongly demand that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities cancel at once the projected war maneuvers aimed at invading the DPRK, it said.
