Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the National Reconciliation Council issued a statement Saturday denouncing the puppet Ministry of Unification for having disallowed recently the inter-Korean cooperation projects of south Korean non-governmental organizations under the absurd pretext of "examination," "policy toward the north" and the like. The statement said: This was a manifestation of undisguised anti-DPRK confrontational hysteria as it revealed the Lee Myung Bak group's treacherous and anti-reunification nature. The reality goes to prove that the Lee group's loudmouthed "sincerity" and "cooperation" are nothing but a poor trick to mislead the public opinion as it is intended to cover up its wicked intention to keep standing against unity, reunification and common prosperity of the nation and escalate the confrontation with fellow countrymen. The Lee group's reckless moves for confrontation with the DPRK and a war of aggression against it totally blocked cooperation projects among non-governmental organizations, to say nothing of the relations between authorities of the north and the south, and pushed the political and military stand-off on the Korean Peninsula beyond an extreme phase, creating such a grave situation on it that a war may break out any moment. "Co-existence", "co-prosperity" and "helping each other to survive" touted by the group of traitors while working hard to do harm to fellow countrymen are an insult and intolerable mockery of the nation. There can be neither noble cooperation between the north and the south for the prosperity common to the nation nor peace, prosperity and reunification and it will not be able to escape disasters of confrontation and war as long as the above-said group is allowed to stay in power. The Lee group will come to know well before long what dear price it will have to pay for its thrice-cursed treacherous and anti-reunification acts. |
