Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress of south Korea held its general meeting in Seoul on March 4 and announced its action program for this year.
At the meeting speakers said that the intensive candlelight actions last year helped rapidly rally and strengthen the forces against Lee Myung Bak, thus providing the motive force capable of opening up a new era of the progressive movement.
Setting it as its action goal for this year to build a people's front against Lee Myung Bak and the "Grand National Party", the organization will expand and strengthen itself and conduct its brisk activities across south Korea, they stressed.
They said that, for the present, the organization would concentrate its efforts on the struggle to punish the Lee Myung Bak "government" and the GNP and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
