Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a meeting in Seoul on March 3 at which it declared that it would struggle to implement the June 15 joint declaration.
At the meeting speakers said that the inter-Korean relations have been further deteriorated owing to the authorities' policy of confrontation, adding that the workers will take the lead in the struggle to tide over the present crisis.
They declared that they would wage a vigorous struggle to defend and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and thus achieve the peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula and glorify the June 15 era of independent reunification.
On the same day, the KCTU made public a statement denouncing the puppet education authorities for their unreasonable behavior against the former chief vice-chairman of the KCTU.
