Chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee Martin Lotscher was selected as chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to widely introduce the undying exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung for the Korean revolution and the world revolution and hold colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
