Officials of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and officials and members of the union of more than 10 cities and counties in South and North Phyongan provinces and North Hwanghae Province brought there more than 2,000 trees of 20 species and at least 50,000 flower-roots, prompted by the desire to spruce up the sacred temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung lies in state.

They planted a lot of trees and flower-roots of good species with great care.

Meanwhile, officials and members of the said union in Sadong District and Junghwa County, Pyongyang, Pyoksong County, South Hwanghae Province, and Phihyon County, North Phyongan Province, planted more than 800 trees of 17 species and at least 500,000 flower-roots of six species in the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site.
