Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- DPRK Woman Speed Skater Ko Hyon Suk proved successful in the 3rd "Challenger Cup" International Speed Skating Tournament held in Germany on Mar. 7 and 8.
The tournament brought together at least 60 ace skaters from eight countries including the DPRK, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
Ko Hyon Suk bagged a gold medal in the 1,000m event and won a bronze medal in the 500m event in the first day of the tournament.
She came first in the 500m event and second in the 1,000m event in the second day of the tournament, thus carrying off two gold medals, one silver and one bronze medals in this tournament.
