Lee Myung Bak Group's Talk about "Threat from North" Snubbed
Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors was reported to have held recently a huddle called "meeting of ministers for foreign affairs and security" at which it raised a hue and cry over what it called "missile threat from the north" and "possible provocation" and discussed the issues of "examining the posture to cope with them" and "proposal for cooperation with neighboring countries." Prior to this, the puppet minister of National Defence, addressing a "commemoration meeting," pulled up the DPRK over the alleged "provocative remarks" and "a serious threat." The boss of the "Ministry of Unification" also vociferated about "nuclear threat from the north" and "provocation to south Korea."

Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

This is nothing but a smokescreen to cover up the bellicose nature of the Lee group hell-bent on confrontation and war and realize its scenario for invading the DPRK come what may.

The much ado made by the Lee group about "threat from the north" is no more than sheer sophism let loose by those who are working with bloodshot eyes to do harm to fellow countrymen by force of arms backed by foreign forces.

It cites facts to prove that the military threat and danger of war now mounting on the Korean Peninsula are, in the final analysis, a product of the hostile policy invariably pursued by the U.S. towards the DPRK and the reckless moves of the Lee group, its follower.

The outbreak of a new war on the peninsula is now becoming a reality due to the puppet warmongers going reckless, bereft of any reason, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The Lee group should know well that the moves for a war of aggression frantically stepped up by it under the absurd pretext of "threat from the north" will never help it find a way out of its crisis but are as foolish as precipitating its destruction.

Regret will not mend matters.

The Lee group would be well advised to stop at once its reckless moves to provoke a war against the DPRK.
