Lee Myung Bak Group's Sycophancy and Treachery Blasted

Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- During his recent junkets to several countries including Australia and Indonesia traitor Lee Myung Bak tried to shift the responsibility for the bedeviled inter-Korean relations and the escalated tension on the Korean Peninsula on to the DPRK, raising a hue and cry over "someone's preparations for a missile launch," "refusal to have dialogue" and "creation of tension." He behaved so despicably as to solicit "support" for his "policy toward the north" wherever he went. In another development, Ri Ki Thaek, chief vice-chairman of the "advisory council for democracy, peace and unification," Lee's mean stooge, in a lecture given in Inchon, talked nonsense that unification is "possible only when there is understanding" among the neighboring countries, while letting a whole string jargons about the watchwords "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars."

Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

What they uttered is nothing but despicable remarks made by those sycophantic traitors keen to realize their wild ambition to do harm to fellow countrymen through cooperation with foreign forces, devoid of even an iota of national dignity and independence and a blatant challenge to the desire of the compatriots to achieve national reunification by the concerted efforts of the Koreans.

The grave tension on the Korean Peninsula is not attributable to someone's "preparations for a missile launch" or "refusal to have dialogue" but it is a product of the Lee group of traitors' anachronistic moves to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK.

The commentary goes on:

This being a hard reality, Lee had the cheek to grumble about "creation of tension" even in foreign countries, misrepresenting the nature of the situation. In doing so he sought the criminal aim of preserving and implementing at any cost his policy of confrontation and war backed by outsiders, though it is rebuffed and denounced at home.

Traitor Ri's nonsensical talk that unification is "possible only when there is understanding" among the neighboring countries is nothing but intolerable sheer sophism let loose by sycophantic traitors.

Closely following the above-mentioned behaviors of the Lee group, Koreans keenly realize once again why it is so hard to achieve the unity and reunification of the nation and why the inter-Korean relations have reached such deplorable phase as they see at present.

In order to achieve the unity and reunification of the nation as early as possible it is necessary, first of all, to make an immediate clean sweep of the group of traitors escalating the inter-Korean confrontation and standing in the way of independent reunification, counting on the support and cooperation from foreign forces.
