Bitterness towards fellow countrymen is a main factor of stoking the mistrust between the north and the south and pushing the north-south relations to catastrophe, a check-bar blocking the dialogue, cooperation, contact and travel between the north and the south and a dangerous source of military confrontation and a war of aggression against the DPRK.

What is important for the inter-Korean dialogue and contact is to properly regard fellow countrymen as a genuine partner in the process for reconciliation and unity.

The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, however, malignantly defiled the June 15 joint declaration and the Oct. 4 declaration as "pro-communist, enemy-benefiting documents" and described "By our nation itself," the main spirit of the inter-Korean joint declarations, as "narrow-minded nationalism" and "chauvinist nationalism."

After giving top priority to the "improvement of the relations" with the U.S. and Japan the Lee group has closed the door to the travel, contact, dialogue and negotiations with fellow countrymen and busied itself serving foreign forces, staking its fate on depending upon them.

The reckless moves of the Lee group to do harm to fellow countrymen by force of arms have created such dangerous situation on the Korean Peninsula that any accident may trigger off a new war.

Absolutely unpardonable is the Lee group which has persisted in such hostile acts against fellow countrymen quite contrary to the aspiration and desire of all Koreans for independent reunification, peace and prosperity, thus driving the inter-Korean relations to collapse and increasing the danger of a war of aggression against the DPRK as the days go by.
