Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The Democratic Labor Party and other opposition parties of south Korea jointly called a news conference on March 13, strongly protesting against the puppet Lee Myung Bak group's restart of forcible evacuation in Ryongsan, Seoul. They accused the Lee "government" and the "Grand National Party" of restarting on March 11 the forcible evacuation in the residential area in Ryongsan though the earlier evacuation carried out by them under the pretext of "redevelopment" sparked off a tragedy, inviting public criticism. The people cannot repress their astonishment and resentment at the restart of the above-said evacuation though a probe has not been made into the truth about the tragedy in Ryongsan and Lee has neither apologized for it nor punished the prime mover of the murder, the opposition parties declared. They stated they would form a joint committee to stage actions against the forcible evacuation till the issue of tragedy in Ryongsan including the punishment of killers of evacuees has been settled. |
