Daniel Alvarez Celi, chairman of the Ecuadorian Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification, in the lecture titled "We bitterly denounce the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises of the U.S. and the south Korean puppets" said that the present situation on the peninsula has grown extremely tense due to their saber rattling.

He urged the U.S. and the south Korean puppets to immediately stop the nuclear war exercises that may bring only disasters and sufferings to the Korean people.

Korea's reunification is an issue of the Koreans and therefore it should be achieved independently and peacefully free from outsiders' interference in line with the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo set forth by President Kim Il Sung, he emphasized.
