Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Fayez Ismail, general secretary of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria, highly praised the feats of President Kim Il Sung when he met with Choe Su Hon, DPRK ambassador to Syria who paid a courtesy call on him on March 15.
Warmly congratulating the Korean people on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, he said that he has always remembered that he had an audience of Kim Il Sung during his visit to the DPRK in 1968.
He praised Kim Il Sung as the great leader not only of the Korean people but also of the Syrian people and other progressives the world over.
Thanks to the immortal Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung, the Korean people have made great successes and progress and the world progressives could wage a more dynamic struggle against imperialism, he stressed.
