The present stirring reality in which a new great revolutionary surge is being effected on all fronts of socialist construction calls for intensifying the above-said movement at a higher level.

The Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is an all-people mass movement of the highest form for accelerating socialist construction by dynamically waging the ideological, technical and cultural revolutions as required by the process of modeling the whole society on the Juche idea. The above-said movement has been dynamically waged in all sectors and at all units over the past three decades under the leadership of the WPK to bring about astonishing miracles and changes in the Korean revolution and construction. The shining victory the DPRK has won in the Songun revolution by firmly defending socialism and ushering in a new magnificent era of building a great prosperous and powerful nation despite stern trials would have been unthinkable without the immortal exploits the WPK has performed by initiating and wisely steering such powerful mass movement as the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement long ago.

It is possible to fully demonstrate the might of socialism in all fields when the above-said movement is waged energetically. This is a precious lesson taught by the historic struggles waged in the DPRK.

The DPRK has built powerful political and military potentials for firmly protecting the dignity and security of the socialist country and successfully accomplishing the Juche revolutionary cause under the banner of Songun. Radical changes have taken place in the ideological and moral traits of the Korean people in the course of weathering out the tempests of the Songun revolution. A high-pitched drive for modernization is now under way in all sectors of the national economy and new culture in the era of Songun, the revolutionary soldier culture has been widely disseminated throughout the country under the leadership of the Party, ushering in a period of fresh renaissance in the cultural construction.

The WPK clearly indicated orientation and ways for developing in depth the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement at a new level on the basis of the strong aspiration and requirements of the servicepersons and people in the era of Songun, the achievements made in the efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful nation and the tasks facing them.

They reflect the steadfast determination and will of the WPK to more dynamically wage the above-said movement whose validity and vitality have been fully proved in practice as a movement involving all people and the whole society and thus bring about a great leap forward and innovations in all fields of the revolution and construction and fly the flag of victory on the eminence of a great prosperous and powerful nation without fail.

Noting that now is the time for all sectors and units to fully display the might of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement, the editorial underscores the need to effectively wage the movement on a higher level as required by the developing reality.
