Attending it were the Cuban minister of Higher Education who is chairman of the committee, the first vice-chairman and members of the committee and the vice-president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and other officials concerned.

The ambassador and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Havana were present on invitation.

The meeting reviewed last year's work of the committee and discussed its action program for this year.
