Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The National Workers' Party, the Organization for Afro-Asian People's Solidarity, the Peasants Committee and the Trade Union Federation of Pakistan, the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association and the Pakistan Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification released a joint statement on Mar. 18 in denunciation of the U.S. and south Korean puppet warmongers' Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.
The statement charged that the said exercises are nuclear war exercises aimed at making a preemptive strike at the DPRK in view of their scale and contents to all intents and purposes and grave military provocative acts of rendering the situation on the Korean Peninsula so tense that a war may break out any moment.
We extend firm solidarity to the Korean people who love peace, oppose imperialism and work hard to achieve the peaceful reunification of the country, the statement said, demanding the U.S. replace the Korean Armistice Agreement with a peace agreement and immediately withdraw its aggressor forces from south Korea.
We fully support the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, the statement stressed.
