The DPRK should fling open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation in 2012, the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung. The Korean working class should play the role of a shock force in this worthwhile advance.

The Korean working class has made an immortal heroic epic, always taking the lead in upholding the Party and the leader since the very day of building a new country.

It was the Korean working class which held high the torch of a great Chollima upswing under the leadership of Kim Il Sung in the 1950s. It was again the working class, a powerful unit, which performed labor exploits to shine long in the nation's history in the grand drives to build socialism in the 1970s and the 1980s when the sounding of the revolution rocked the country. The Korean people remember the feats performed by the workers in Jagang Province and those of the Songjin Steel Complex and the Ranam Mining Machine Complex in successfully weathering the adversity during "the Arduous March," the forced march and ushering in a new era of building a great prosperous and powerful nation.

It is great pride and honor of Songun Korea to have a large contingent of revolutionary and heroic workers who are ready to wholeheartedly respond to the call of the country, boundlessly faithful to the cause of the Party and the leader.

Really profound and great are the Workers' Party of Korea's trust and expectation for the working class today when an all-out charge is under way to build a thriving nation.

In this great exciting era, the era of great leap forward, the Korean working class should fully display its heroic mettle and indomitable mental power as it was steeled in the crucible of the Songun revolution.
