Miroslav Stepan, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, said at the meeting that the august name of President Kim Il Sung revered by the world is shining along with the DPRK's history of revolutionary struggle and the history of the international labor movement.

The President's cause is being successfully carried out by Kim Jong Il, the general secretary said, and went on:

Kim Jong Il has wisely led the revolution and construction by pursuing the unique Songun politics to cope with the changed international situation.

The Korean people have firmly defended socialism and dynamically accelerated socialist construction, foiling all sorts of provocative moves of the U.S.-led imperialists by pursuing the Songun politics.

The validity of the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il has been proved more clearly than ever before as it fully meets the requirements of the present times.

The Czechoslovak Communist Party will as ever fully support the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful nation and achieve the country's reunification.

The general secretary wholeheartedly wished Kim Jong Il big success in his work for building a thriving country and achieving national reunification.
