Mangyongdae Draws Endless Stream of Visitors
Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung's birthplace at Mangyongdae and the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum are visited by an endless stream of servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life, school youth and children, overseas Koreans and south Koreans and foreign friends on the occasion of the anniversary of his birth.

A total of at least 122 million people have visited Mangyongdae since Kim Il Sung made a triumphant return home.

An increasing number of people had visited Mangyongdae since July, Juche 83(1994), bringing the number of visitors to more than 30 million. The annual number of visitors to it reached more than 2 million over the last 15 years whereas their number averaged 1.8 million in the preceding period.

Nearly 204,000 compatriots of at least 13,900 organizations from abroad and south Korea have visited Mangyongdae.

At least 773,000 foreigners of at least 72,200 organizations have visited it. Among them were heads of political parties and state, prominent figures, participants in the Kimilsungia festivals and April Spring Friendship Art Festivals and members of delegations from different countries.
