Present there were Chairwoman Ryu Mi Yong, Advisor O Ik Je and officials of the Korean Chondoist Church Central Guidance Committee and Chondoists in Pyongyang.

Kang Chol Won, vice-chairman of the committee, said in his report at the ceremony that Chondoism was founded in the latter half of the 19th century guided by such ideas as "Rejection of West and Japan," "Promotion of the National Interests and Welfare of the People," "Broad Salvation of the People," and "Paradise," reflecting the patriotic desire and will of the Korean people to struggle against feudalism and aggression and the proud course of history covered by the Korean nation is recorded with the patriotic struggle of the Chondoists.

Noting that the reunification of the country has not yet been achieved because of the anti-reunification and confrontation moves stepped up by the Lee Myung Bak group hell-bent on sycophancy and dependence upon foreign forces, he stressed that all Chondoists who truly love the country and are concerned about the destiny of the nation should single-mindedly unite and wage a powerful nationwide struggle to frustrate the evermore vicious moves of traitor Lee Myung Bak to block reunification and escalate the confrontation with the DPRK.

He called upon all the Chondoists in the north and the south to firmly unite under the banner of "By our nation itself" and devote their all to the sacred cause of achieving the independent national reunification.

The participants prayed for the earliest possible achievement of national reunification and the realization of the ideal of Chondoism.
