Joint Anti-Japanese Struggle Called for

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are obliged to admit the acts of aggression committed by Japan against the Korean people in the past and make apology and reparation for them but they are kicking up a nosier racket of confrontation with the DPRK as the days go by, defending and whitewashing the crimes perpetrated by Japan against humanity and, at the same time, openly pushing ahead with the moves to convert it into a military giant and launch overseas expansion.

Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed article.

It is none other than Japan that is persistently standing in the way of the six-party talks under the pretext of the "abduction issue" and it is again the Japanese reactionaries who behaved more wickedly than the United States, crying out for "intercepting" the DPRK's satellite after groundlessly describing its launch for peaceful purpose as a "missile launch."

Lurking behind this row is a criminal aim to obstruct the peaceful settlement of the nuclear issue and further stir up the atmosphere of confrontation with the DPRK worldwide in a bid to realize their old ambition for reinvasion at any cost.

Citing facts to prove that traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea steeped in servility to Japan to the marrow of his bones has committed hideous acts of treachery since he came to power, covering up the indelible crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists in the past and encouraging the Japanese reactionaries in their moves for reinvasion.

The reality patently proves that if traitors are allowed to stay within the nation, it is impossible to defend even its inviolable territory, to say nothing of its dignity, and they will bring again inescapable disaster and catastrophe to all its members in the end.

All Koreans in the north and the south and abroad should clearly see through the danger of the Japanese reactionaries' moves to reinvade the DPRK and the criminal moves of the south Korean conservative ruling forces, their lackeys, and intensify the nationwide struggle for frustrating them.

They should roundly expose and condemn the Japanese reactionaries' moves for reinvasion and confrontation with the DPRK and lay bare the criminal aims sought by them through those moves.

All the compatriots should wage a more dynamic joint anti-Japanese struggle in order to protect the dignity of the Korean nation, powerfully demonstrate the independent spirit of the nation and bring earlier the independent reunification, peace and prosperity.
