Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- A Red-Cross spring tree-planting event took place in Ryonghung-ri, Songchon County, South Phyongan Province, Tuesday on the occasion of the all-people movement for spring land management.
Present at the event were officials of the DPRK Red Cross Society, juvenile members of the Red Cross Society and members of the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies working in the DPRK.
At the event speakers referred to the brisk spring tree-planting in the DPRK during the all-people movement for spring land management, adding that this event took place as part of Red Cross activities for preventing disaster.
The participants planted pine-nut, acacia and other trees.
