Attending it were personages of political parties and organizations, including the Ministry of Information and Culture, the Party for Unity and Progress, the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Conakry, and popular masses of Guinea.

The ambassador and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Conakry were present on invitation.

Speeches were made there.

Banou Keita, chairman of the friendship association, said it is an expression of the boundless reverence of the Guinean people and the world progressives for the President that the Kimilsungia Greenhouse has been built wonderfully and opened in Guinea on the occasion of the significant Day of the Sun. He expressed the resolution to bring the flower of the sun into fuller bloom and widely disseminate it throughout Africa.

Riyad Chaloub, general secretary of the Ministry of Information and Culture of Guinea, said that the admirable inauguration of the greenhouse marks an important occasion in further deepening the feelings of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples of the DPRK and Guinea. The flower of the sun will come into bloom more beautifully by sincerity and enthusiasm of the Guinean people along with the immortal exploits of the President, a great man.

At the end of the ceremony an art performance was given by Guinean artistes.
