The Egyptian party said in its statement that the DPRK's successful launch of the satellite meant another brilliant victory achieved by the Korean people in building a great prosperous and powerful nation while frustrating all sorts of obstructions and pressure on the part of the imperialist forces under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il and a great auspicious event which demonstrated the will and national power of the DPRK.

Extending full support and solidarity to the friendly Korean people, the statement expressed belief that they would achieve a greater success in their struggle for increasing the national power.

The Swedish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea noted in its statement that the successful launch of the carrier rocket and the satellite developed by the Korean people with their own wisdom and technology is a great victory of the Juche idea.

We fully support the DPRK's exercise of its independent right for the peaceful use of outer space, it pointed out.

The Sweden-Korea Friendship Association stressed in its statement that it warmly congratulates Kim Jong Il on the successful launch of the satellite.
