Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions made public a statement on April 8 to denounce the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for its moves to cut off the inter-Korean relations.
The statement accused the "Ministry of Unification" of barring the Teachers' Union of south Korea and workers of Inchon from visiting the DPRK on April 7.
It held that their visit to the DPRK was aimed to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration through exchange and solidarity among workers in the south and the north.
Nevertheless, the Lee "government" stands in the way of exchange between even NGOs while persisting in its confrontational policy toward the DPRK, it said, adding this is prompted by the intention to totally bedevil the inter-Korean relations and perpetuate national division.
The Lee regime had better clearly understand that its persistent pursuance of hostile policy toward the DPRK would precipitate its destruction, it warned.
