Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed article.

The conservative ruling forces of south Korea are desperately standing against the national reconciliation and unity and its reunification, taking to flunkeyism and dependence on outsiders.

The Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea appealed to all the fellow countrymen in the north and the south and abroad to turn out as one in the nation-wide struggle against the Lee Myung Bak group. It was a very realistic step.

All the Koreans should decisively reject the south Korean authorities' sycophantic and treacherous theory of giving priority to foreign forces and firmly protect the dignity and interests of the nation.

They should resolutely frustrate the reckless DPRK-targeted war provocations of the U.S. and south Korean bellicose forces, irrespective of ideology, ism and the partisan interests and strategy for the sake of peace and security of the country.

It is urgent requirement of the reality to further the struggle for democracy against dictatorship in south Korea.

South Koreans from all walks of life looking forward to living in a new democratic world free from fascist dictatorship should decisively check and frustrate the authorities' frantic moves aimed at building up a dictatorial system, enacting fascist laws and suppressing the pro-reunification and democratic forces, holding high the slogan for democracy against dictatorship.

All the fellow countrymen in the north and the south and abroad should stage the grand national march for the country's reunification in firm unity under the banner of "By our nation itself."

The united struggle in the spirit of "By our nation itself" is the way for achieving the independent reunification of the country. It is truth instilled by the June 15 era of reunification into the mind of all the fellow countrymen.

All the Korean people should unite as one under the banner of "By our nation itself" with firm confidence and optimism about reunification and turn out in the patriotic drive for realizing the cause of independent reunification as early as possible.
