Book "Among the People" (79) Released

Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out "Among the People" (79), a collection of memoirs. Contained in the book are 18 pieces of memoirs telling about the immortal feats performed by President Kim Il Sung for the prosperity and development of the country and happiness of the people and for global independence and his noble popular traits. Among them are reminiscences titled "How the Foundations for Rural Mechanization in Our County Have Been Laid" and "He Trained Us to be Competent Agricultural Officials" which tell that the President indicated the ways for increasing grain production one by one and carefully led an ordinary official with love and trust while traveling ceaseless journey of guidance to the countryside. Memoirs "A Mineral Spring Associated with Paternal Love" and "For Development of Democratic Public Health" tell about the touching facts that when visiting a rest home after the liberation of the country, the President personally tasted mineral water there before instructing to use it for the improvement of working people's health and that he had worked heart and soul to develop the public health system in the country into a genuine health system for the people. There are also such reminiscences as "Meticulous Love for Students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School" and "Under the Care of the Great Sun" dealing with the facts that the President took warm care of the children of revolutionary martyrs and remembered a south Korean revolutionary with deep emotion. "Always Giving Top Priority to the People's Interests," "Whenever Thinking of Spoon and Chopsticks Associated with Paternal Love," "Deep Care Shown for the Development of Small-scale Fishery" and other memoirs convey the deep benevolence of the President who dedicated his all to improving the standard of people's living. Reminiscences "'Young Girl Is Praiseworthy'" and "'You Should Keep the Homeland in Mind All the Time'" contain the touching stories that the President encouraged a girl weaver who distinguished herself in wartime production and implanted ardent patriotism into the mind of a student studying in other country when he visited it. Memoirs "Saying That Sincere Help Should Be Given to Developing Countries" deals with the fact that the President rendered great encouragement to the world revolutionary people in the struggle for independence. |
