On April 9, the Japanese reactionaries let another history textbook for middle schoolers justifying Japan's aggression in the past pass the screening process.

The textbook has contents justifying Japanese imperialists' aggression and colonial rule over the Korean Peninsula and distorting the historical facts such as the sexual slavery and forcible drafting.

The textbook openly describes the Pacific war as the "Greater East Asia war" and hides Japan's past crimes and preaches the revival of militarism, asserting that Japan was a victim unavoidably involved in the war due to the Western powers including the U.S. and Britain.

Conveying this fact, the south Korean MBC said the "Fusosha Publishing Inc." was only renamed "Jiyusha Publishing Inc." and the distortions made in the textbook published by the "Fusosha Publishing Inc." four years ago remain almost the same.

It was reportedly due to the protest movement of the Japanese civic organizations at that time that the history textbook published by the "Fusosha Publishing Inc." was rejected by Japanese schools.
