Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A joint statement celebrating the DPRK's successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 was made public on April 6 by the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions, the Russian Society for the Promotion of the Study and Dissemination of Comrade Kim Jong Il's Works, the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism, the Russian Women's Union Named after Kim Jong Suk, the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Belorussian February 16 Youth Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy, the Moldovan Songun Youth Union for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Kazakh Kim Jong Il Association for the Study and Dissemination of the Juche Idea.
April 5 was registered as day of auspicious event for the independent countries and the progressive mankind the world over, the statement said, adding: The DPRK led by Kim Jong Il, the great brilliant commander true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung, proved once again that the people advancing along the road of independence can attain their aims even in the standoff with the "superpower" and defeat the enemies.
The statement demanded that the imperialist forces stop all their aggression actions against the DPRK at once and the United States, Japan and others make official apologies to it for their false propaganda and refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of the independent DPRK.
Meanwhile, the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association and the Syrian newspaper Al Usubuu Al Riadih released statements on April 6 and 7 in celebration of the successful launch of Kwangmyongsong-2.
