Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A meeting "Country of everlasting sun" was held by members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea in the plaza of the Arch of Triumph on April 13 on the occasion of the 97th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
Present there were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and members of the union.
Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the union, in a speech said that the revolutionary career of the President will shine long along with Songun Korea as he led the country and its people to great victory and an epoch-making changes, bringing the great heyday of independence and prosperity to this land under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea and bestowing immense honor and happiness upon the Korean women.
Put on the stage were poem and chorus "We visit Mangyongdae", dialogic poem and Kayagum ensemble "The leader is the man without an equal in the world", serial songs "Only one mind" and "Song of Women" and other colorful numbers.
The performers sang high praises of the feats the President performed by starting the revolutionary cause of Juche with the great idea and leadership and laying an eternal foundation for accomplishing it.
