Japanese Reactionaries' Anti-DPRK Hysteria Flailed

Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are making much fuss, groundlessly describing the DPRK's recent satellite launch as "a missile launch." They decided to extend the "sanctions" against the DPRK to one year. They are crying out for "taking measures to cope with threat", "examining a preemptive attack on missile bases" and "discussing the issue of nuclear weaponization" and the like. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: What the Japanese reactionaries are now doing is nothing but a sort of hysteria and a revelation of their extreme hostility towards the DPRK and persecution mania. This reckless anti-DPRK hysteria kicked up by the Japanese reactionaries over DPRK's launch of the satellite for peaceful purposes is intended to convince people of the necessity to build a missile shield and realize the nuclear weaponization under the pretext of the "threat" from the DPRK and push ahead with them with increased zeal and evade the settlement of Japan's past crimes. Their desperate call for "taking measures to cope with threat" and "tightening the sanctions" against the DPRK sounds as no more than a despicable shrill cry of those enfeebled and frightened. Wretched is the plight of the Japanese reactionaries going reckless, knowing nothing of the world. The DPRK which demonstrated its strong national power after taking a legitimate position in developing outer space on the basis of ultra-modern science and technology will dynamically advance along the road of independence, the road for building a great prosperous and powerful nation, the commentary says, stressing Japan's hysteria would only invite bitterer derision from the world people. |
