The Korean-style socialism is the greatest inheritance left by the President and his history of revolutionary activities is shining as one of the socialist construction of Juche centering on the people.

The President, regarding "The people are my God" as his life-long view and motto, put it forth as the fighting programme to construct socialism in the country at the initial stage of the revolution and paid special attention to the efforts for its materialization while in the bloody battles against imperialism.

The President advanced a line of building a new-type political power in the historic Kalun meeting in June Juche 19 (1930) and established the people's revolutionary governments in the guerrilla bases, thus creating the origin of a new-type state construction centered on the popular masses.

After the liberation of the country, he, basing himself on the experience accumulated in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on September 9, 1948 and devoted his whole life to the cause of setting up on this land the socialist paradise where the popular masses are the masters of all things and everything serves them.

He, who regarded the interest and demand of the people as the starting point of all thought and activities, always found himself among the people and worked out lines and policies and constructed factories in conformity with their requirement, saying that what the people were fond of was all good.

The wise leadership of the President for building socialism based on the broad sections of masses is reflected in the emblem of the Workers' Party of Korea which consists of a hammer, a sickle and a writing-brush. It is also reflected in the revolutionary principle of carrying on all state affairs including the composition of deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly and the policy-making in accordance with the popular characters and in the legend-like stories about his love with which he put forward people of all strata as standard-bearers of the socialist construction.

He provided a strong military guarantee for defending the dignity and sovereignty of the people from the invasion of the imperialists and, at the same time, laid every solid foundation for the eternal prosperity and happiness of the people.

The Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses, the crystal of the ideology, leadership and virtues of the President, will in the future, too, win victory after victory.
