Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- Flowers bloom in full in praise of the great men in the gift plant greenhouse of the Central Botanical Garden in the DPRK with the Day of the Sun drawing near. There are in the greenhouse many species of rare and beautiful flowers presented to President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il by various countries. Among them are Clivia miniata, African lily and dotted bellflower which were sent to the President by figures of China and Russia with ardent desire to hold him in high esteem as the eternal sun of the humankind. sent Rhododendron insicum, royal azalea and king orange are also putting out flowers, emitting fragrance. They were sent to him by Officials of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan) and Korean residents in Japan, praising him as the eternal sun of Juche. The precious adenium obesum, which has taken root in the greenhouse reflecting the boundless reverence of the Laotian people for the peerlessly great man, is opening beautiful flowers bigger than ever before. Conspicuous among the flowers are the ever-green plants including Nesegcy frangipani which grow in some islands of Mexico, Venezuela and India. They also burst into bloom these days. 400 flowering trees and shrubs of tens of species are in bloom in the greenhouse, reflecting the ardent reverence of all people for the President. |
