The statement said that the signal achievement made by the DPRK in the development of space is a great encouragement to all the progressive forces of the whole world struggling for socialism and sovereignty.

It charged that the U.S.-led imperialist forces are malignantly slandering the DPRK's legitimate satellite launch for peaceful purposes as "threat" and "challenge".

The Communist Party of Sweden makes clear its stand that as a sovereign state, the DPRK has the right to develop satellite and rocket technology and the legitimate right to launch dozens or hundreds of satellites no matter whatever the imperialist forces may say, the statement said.
