The speakers said at the meetings and rallies that Kim Jong Il's reelection to the top post of the state is the great honor and happiness of the army and people of the DPRK and a great auspicious event of the country and nation.

They spoke highly of Kim Jong Il praising him as a peerlessly great statesman and invincible and brilliant Songun commander as he has led the party, army and people to victory for half a century and demonstrated the dignity and might of the DPRK at the highest level.

They called for bringing about a leaping forward, holding the torchlight of a new revolutionary surge true to his Songun revolutionary leadership, and thus contribute to glorifying this year as a year of a decisive turn in building a great prosperous powerful nation.
