Ri Ki Sok, vice-chairman and concurrently director general of the General Affairs Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, in a report referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il was reelected chairman of the NDC of the DPRK at the First Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly according to the unanimous desire and will of all servicepersons and people.

He extended greatest glory and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Il, representing the unanimous reverence of all Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan for him.

He spoke highly of Kim Jong Il who has firmly protected the socialist homeland by leading the confrontation with the imperialist allied forces to victory with his unique Songun politics in the rigorous days when the DPRK faced a stern trial.

All the officials of Chongryon and other compatriots will absolutely trust and follow Kim Jong Il and repose trust in the homeland, a cradle of compatriots' happiness and their beacon of hope, and defend it with the faith that they are sure to triumph as long as they are led by him, he stressed.

He called upon them to turn out in the patriotic movement of Chongryon with the honor of being overseas citizens of the DPRK under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
