Youth and students held an evening gala at the plaza of the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium. They danced to the tune of such songs as "My Country Is the Eternal Country of the Leader," turning the plaza into a sea of dancers with ardent longing and boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung.

When "Our General Is the Best", "Korea, Sing of This Pride" and other songs reverberated through the plaza wrapped in a festive atmosphere, dances reached their climax.

The participants were filled with the determination to usher in a shining heyday of Songun Korea under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, holding President Kim Il Sung in high esteem for all ages.

Similar pleasant events were held by youths in different parts of the country including South Hamgyong, North Phyongan, Ryanggang, Kangwon and North Hwanghae provinces to significantly commemorate the Day of the Sun.
