Amidst the playing of "Song of General Kim Il Sung" a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the WPK Central Military Commission, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet was placed before his statue.

The participants paid humble reverence to the statue looking up to the President who built a socialist power dignified with independence which guarantees prosperity of all generations to come in this land.

Commanding officers of the Korean People's Army also visited the palace on the same day to pay deep respect to the President, founder of the revolutionary armed forces and ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander.

Also among the visitors were anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, KPA servicepersons and people from all walks of life.

Foreigners including the diplomatic corps, the military attaches corps and representatives of international organizations here, delegations and delegates of the groups for the study of the Juche idea and delegations participating in the 11th Kimilsungia Festival and overseas Koreans' delegations and overseas Koreans also visited the palace Wednesday to pay homage to the President.
